Dryer Vent Wizard advises consumers to watch for warning signs of venting problems
with their dryers, including clothing taking longer to dry, no lint visible on the
lint screen, dryer repeatedly stops during a cycle, moldy smell on clothing after
drying, and clothes being unusually hot after a dry cycle. When a dryer is not
functioning properly, it is most likely a clogged venting system which is a serious
fire hazard.
